The Truth Behind Transforming Your Body

Transform your bodyI’ve used many diets and supplements to find out the “real world” answers to age-old questions for gaining weight and muscle. There is no way around it, as long as the health and fitness industry generates billions of dollars in revenue, your going to have hucksters trying to cash in. Many men and women waste time and money on things like weight gain pills, believing that have the solution to their problems inside. Of course none of them really do. The only solution they offer is to the financial concerns of the manufacturer who knowingly put this bunk out on the market.

The cold hard truth is you will most likely loose some lean body mass (LBM) on a diet unless you are completely new at training, then it is possible to gain a minimal amount of LBM even in a starvation state. Otherwise you will not gain LBM on a diet. The most important thing you can do is to minimize the loss of LBM. If you see the before and after pictures in some magazines they look as if the guy has lost an incredible amount of fat and gained several pounds of LBM in a “12 week period” using some expensive supplement that promises 10lbs a month of LBM and fat loss at the same time.

Don’t be fooled! This is just deceptive marketing and nothing else. Most of the guys and gals you see in these ads were using A.S. (Anabolic steroids) and lots of them. What’s worse is if you pay close attention to there “miraculous transformation” you will notice that they haven’t really gained a lot of muscle, they just shed the overlaying fat. When you loose fat and your muscles become more defined you look 20% bigger. The same can be said about the majority of bodybuilding supplements, they are not effective for weight gain.

You will see what I’m saying when you get to the cutting phase of your diet. There is a night and day difference between an 18′arm at 20% BF (Body fat) and the same arm lean 17.5′ at 10% the arm looks a hell of a lot bigger. It’s not a big shapeless lump any more. The muscle heads are clearly defined. The veins are noticeably protruding and the separation between the shoulders, biceps and triceps are pronounced. This is the look you want to stick in a tank top or sleeveless shirt.
